Information you provide
When you create an account, PriceFlock stores your username, email address, account creation date, saved favorites, and price-alert choices. Email/password accounts store a one-way password hash rather than the readable password. If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies an account identifier, verified email address, and display name; PriceFlock does not receive your Google password.
If you contact PriceFlock by email, we receive the address, message, and any information you choose to include. Do not email passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive documents.
Browser-only personalization and comparison lists
PriceFlock uses localStorage in your browser for anonymous on-site features. These records can include the product keys in your comparison list and a limited interest profile based on PriceFlock searches, product views, category visits, brands, or outbound product clicks. The browser-side profile can add relevance to the common catalog ranking. PriceFlock does not send that personal interest profile to the server.
You can clear this data through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing browser storage can reset anonymous personalization and the local comparison list. Signed-in favorites and alerts are account features and are handled separately.
Session cookies
A secure HTTP-only session cookie keeps a signed-in account authenticated. OAuth sign-in may also use short-lived state cookies to complete the sign-in flow safely. These cookies support account security and are not product reviews or retailer purchases.
Advertising on eligible content pages
PriceFlock uses Google AdSense on eligible content pages. Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies, device information, IP address, or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising according to Google’s policies. Ads are not intentionally loaded on account, settings, favorites, comparison, search, error, or other pages marked ineligible by PriceFlock’s advertising policy.
Advertising technology is separate from PriceFlock’s browser-only shopping personalization. You can review Google’s advertising technology information and available controls at Google’s advertising policies.
Affiliate retailer links
PriceFlock does not process purchases or store payment-card information. Following an affiliate retailer link can allow the retailer and affiliate network to receive referral, browser, and device information under their own privacy and cookie policies. The retailer controls checkout, payment, fulfillment, returns, and customer service.
Authorized catalog and price-history data
Product and offer information comes from authorized retailer feeds, official APIs, or approved catalogs. PriceFlock stores source identifiers, product identity, merchant, price, availability, destination, image, and observation timestamps when supplied and accepted. Price history records product-offer observations; it is catalog data, not a profile of a shopper.
Hosting and service providers
PriceFlock runs on Cloudflare Workers and uses Cloudflare D1 for account and catalog records. Cloudflare can process limited network, security, and operational information to deliver and protect the service under its own terms. Google and approved affiliate networks process information for their respective advertising or referral roles.
Your choices
Signed-in users can remove favorites and alerts, download an account export, or permanently delete the account through Settings. The export includes account details, favorites, and price alerts associated with the account. For a privacy request that cannot be completed in Settings, email the address on the Contact page from the account email when possible.
Retention and security
Account data is retained while the account remains active and is removed through the account deletion process, subject to limited retention when required for security, legal compliance, or dispute handling. PriceFlock uses access controls, password hashing, secure cookies, encrypted transport, and restricted service bindings. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and policy changes
PriceFlock accounts are not directed to children under 13, and the service does not knowingly request personal information from children. Material changes to this policy will be reflected by a revised date on this page.
