Price comparison starts with knowing that two listings describe the same product.
PriceFlock is a US-focused shopping and price-comparison service. We built it around a simple problem: a low price is not useful when it belongs to another model, size, color, formula, bundle, condition, or pack count. PriceFlock organizes current retailer offers around product identity first, then makes the price differences easier to understand.
What PriceFlock does
PriceFlock receives product and offer records through authorized retailer feeds, official APIs, and approved affiliate catalogs. Those records can include product identifiers, names, brands, images, prices, availability, destination links, and observation times. We normalize the usable fields, place products into shopping categories, and create comparison pages when the available identifiers support a reliable match.
Shoppers can browse categories, compare current offers, review available price history, save favorites, and create price alerts. PriceFlock then sends the shopper to the selected retailer to review the final terms and complete checkout.
What PriceFlock is not
PriceFlock is not a retailer or marketplace. We do not take payment, hold inventory, ship orders, approve returns, or provide a retailer’s warranty. Prices and stock can change after an offer is observed, so the retailer page remains the final source for checkout price, shipping, taxes, availability, and purchase terms.
We do not invent missing prices, product specifications, reviews, images, discounts, or business relationships. We also do not copy retailer pages to fill catalog gaps. If the authorized source does not provide enough information for a public listing, the missing information stays missing.
Why exact identity matters
A shared GTIN can provide strong evidence that two retailers are offering the same standardized item. Where a valid exact GTIN is available, PriceFlock can place offers from distinct merchants on one comparison page. GTIN-less items keep their existing provider identity unless other approved catalog rules establish the exact product. Ambiguous products are safer as separate records than as a false comparison.
How PriceFlock earns money
Some outbound retailer links may be affiliate links. PriceFlock may receive a commission if a shopper follows an eligible link and completes a qualifying action. That arrangement does not increase the shopper’s price, and it does not permit a merchant to buy a product match. Read the affiliate disclosure for the full explanation.
Account and privacy choices
An account is optional for browsing. Signed-in users can save favorites and price alerts, download their account data, and delete their account from Settings. Anonymous on-site personalization is stored in the browser rather than sent to the server as a personal shopping profile. Questions and corrections
Product identity and price accuracy improve when problems are reported with enough detail to reproduce them.
